The data reported in the "Performance Counter History Report" is not granular enough for the window of time covered in the report. I have a specific 4 hour window that I am defining for the report, but the data included comes in at a 2-minute resolution, which does not give me accurate averages or peak values.
I can make the size of the time window covered by the report smaller in to get better resolution, but that does not give me an adequate enough picture of what is happening in my 4 hour job.
I am looking at the following counters:
- Disk IO Reads
- Disk IO Writes
- Disk Reads/sec
- Disk Writes/sec
- ms/Read
- ms/Write
- List item
How can I get a report out of the database with finer resolution for my 4 hour window?
